_ I wanted to make a sculpture that one could appreciate, even without water. There are two basins, and the water flows on a staircase. As a sculptor I am interested in creating a sculpture that changes.
I consider that I can sculpt water because I can sculpt what it flows on, the stone face. I chose the pink granite “rose de la clarté” because it is a fountain situated in a garden, and the contrast of green and pink works well.

_ 水なしでも観賞できる噴水彫刻を作りたかったのです。2つの池の中に段差のある作品に添って水が流れます。彫刻家として、私は時間とともに変わる彫刻に興味を持っています。
私は、その水と共にあり、それを受け入れる彫刻を制作しています。水の動きも彫刻することができると思います。この作品には、 ピンクのブルターニュ産花崗岩を選びました 。それが庭の緑に映え、緑とピンクの対比はとても巧く行っています。

_ Je voulais faire une sculpture qu’on puisse apprécier même sans eau. Il y a deux bassins, l’eau coule sur un escalier. En tant que sculpteur, ça m’intéresse de faire une sculpture qui sois changeante.
Je considère que je peux sculpter l’eau, parce que j’en sculpte le support, la paroi en pierre. J’ai choisi le granite rose de la clarté parce que c’est une fontaine intégrée à un jardin, le contraste du vert et du rose fonctionne bien.
