"I walk on the coast of Biarritz, I feel and I observe the
scenery along the Atlantic, it is beautiful sunshine, waves,
rocks, the force of nature and it makes me dream. " The
sculpture-mineral landscape fits the plant. The magnificent
natural setting, makes tree rich and well maintained, lights
and playing seasons naturally its theatrical space. Each day
children are the main actors. The sculpture is composed of
7 blocks arranged in an arc. It fits architecturally the site
for the magnifier. It is designed to be experienced by students
as a Thursday meeting outdoors to receive their confidences
and feel well.
- Initially 7 blocks of 80 tonnes, patiently
carved for 2 to 3 years in the marble sculptors Bousquet, it
weighs more than 50 tons completed. The blocks are excerpts
from the quarry, épannelés then transported to the marble where
they are drawn and cut the hammer and chisel. The finish,
smooth surfaces and nursery east piquetée, bouchardée or
polished. 2 years working for Xavier Boggio size Tetsuo Harada
and Bertelot.
-- In the patio overlooking the canteen, a bas relief was
directed by Tetsuo Harada with the help of students at the
metal workshop at the Lycee Cantau. These works have been
carried out within the framework of the "1%" of
the Ministry of National Education, in conjunction with the
architects and Lefèvre Fougeroux Paris.

“Je me promène sur la côte
de Biarritz, je sens et
j’observe le paysage au bord de l’Atlantique, il fait beau
le soleil brille, les vagues, les rochers, la force de la nature
et cela me fait rêver”.
- Cette sculpture-paysage
minéral s’intègre au végétal. Le cadre naturel grandiose,
fait d’essences d’arbres riches et bien entretenus, de
lumières et du jeu des saisons forment naturellement son
espace théâtral. Chaque jour les enfants sont les principaux
acteurs.
La sculpture est composée de 7 blocs disposés en arc de cercle.
Elle s’intègre architecturalement au site pour le magnifier.
Elle est conçue pour être vécue par les élèves comme un jeu-rencontre
en plein air, recevoir leurs confidences et s’y sentir bien.

Au départ 7 blocs de 80 tonnes, patiemment sculptés pendant
2 années à 3 sculpteurs à la marbrerie Bousquet, elle ne
pèse plus que 50 tonnes terminées.
Les blocs sont extraits de la carrière, épannelés puis transportés
à la marbrerie où ils sont tracés et taillés au marteau et
au burin. La finition, des surfaces douces et maternelles
est piquetée, bouchardée ou polie. 2 années de travail de taille
pour Xavier Boggio Tetsuo Harada et Bertelot

Dans le patio donnant sur
la cantine, un bas relief a été réalisé par Tetsuo Harada
avec l’aide des élèves de l’atelier métal du Lycée Cantau.
Ces œuvres ont été réalisées dans le cadre du concours “1%”
du Ministère de l’éducation nationale, en relation avec les
architectes Lefèvre et Fougeroux de Paris. |

"The idea of my sculptures lies in the hope that citizens
intending to visit cultural centre emerged brimming with
ideas. I placed the sculptures on a circle so that people
can sit, meet and exchange. Another use of my sculptures,
is the boundary access Cultural Centre and prevent cars to
park in the vacant space reserve the friendliness. The public
spaces empty or modestly equipped are often more important
because they are places for meetings and appointments. "
豊富な文化
私の彫刻のアイデアを期待してうその市民文化センターを訪問する意図に満ちて登場したのアイデアです。私の彫刻は、サークルに配置するように座る人々が、会うと交換します。別の使用私の彫刻は、文化の中心部との境界にアクセス公園で車を防ぐための空きスペースを予約し、友情とal'amitiéです。空の公共スペースや控えめな設備が多いため、彼らは場所をもっと重要な会議や予定です。

“L’idée de mes sculptures réside dans
l’espoir que les citoyens qui se rendent au centre culturel
en ressortent débordant d’idées.
J’ai placé les sculptures sur un cercle
pour que les gens puissent s’asseoir,
se réunir et échanger.
Un autre usage de mes sculptures, c’est
le bornage d’accès au Centre culturel et empêcher les voitures
de se garer dans
l’espace vacant réserver à la convivialité
et a l’amitié. Les espaces publics vides ou modestement aménagés
sont souvent
plus importants car se sont des lieux de
rencontre et de rendez-vous”. |

Harada is blacksmith each morning for more
than one hour to prepare the tools with the coal fire and
water.

Surface 50 m2, Ardoise bleue, grès rouge, granit gris.
Au
cœur d’un ensemble bâti autour d’une place, la sculpture
de Tetsuo Harada vient animer cet espace collectif. Le dallage-jeu
s’inscrit dans un rectangle de 10 x 5 m. Son dessin s’inspire
du jardin japonais avec un dôme en granit sculpté et un élément
rectangulaire en surplomb, l’ensemble est relié par des “pas
japonais”.
Concours “1%” du Ministère de l’éducation nationale,
en relation avec l’architecte Jacques Sohier de Reims.
